COMMITTEE PURPOSE AND GOALS
Hospitality & Sympathy Committee
Type: The Hospitality & Sympathy Committee is a standing committee
Purpose: The purpose of the Hospitality & Sympathy Committee is to facilitate
hospitality for events and guests of the Parish. The committee will also
facilitate the expression of sympathy on behalf of the Parish in the event
of the illness, injury or death occurring in our Parish Family and their
families and friends as deemed appropriate by the committee or as
requested by the Parish Council
Goals: The Hospitality & Sympathy Committee is directed to accomplish the
following:
1. Organize meals for individuals or families as appropriate in the
event of a birth, death, illness and/or injury
2. Organize meals and housing as necessary for visiting guests as
appropriate
3. Arrange for the sending of flowers and cards and other expressions
of sympathy as appropriate for the situation
4. Keep the Parish informed of needs which they may be able to help
meet as appropriate in the event of a birth, death, illness and/or
injury
5. Prepare a budget request annually for the Parish Council
Accountability: This committee is accountable to the Parish Council.
